So if you have a bad GM, then you should cheer him on? If you have a bad owner, you should accept it?

I understand that it doesnt help the player when he gets booed during a game, but you know what, he shouldnt be in that position in the first place, so what is really the only way for fans to show their frustration with the crap that is out there

How about speaking with their wallets and not going to the games? That sends a much stronger message than getting drunk and acting like an ass.

Again, while I don't like to boo, I actually give Sox fans some credit for this one. They, or we, expect more, and when we don't get it, we are going to let you know. The lead off spot right now is unacceptable.

That's the one possible defense of booing - if it really makes a difference. I dont know if that would sway our manager at all, but I would hope it wouldnt. They have to make the decisions b/c they're the most credible people here, not the fans who tend to get swept up in hasty trends.

maybe im just bitter about the whole situation....ive said numerous times how disappointed i have been with the CF situation...i mean, im not an animal, and when i said i dont feel bad for him, thats not entirely true...part of me does, but more of me is upset at the whole situation and putting a .254 career on base guy who didnt draw a single walk all spring at leadoff is beyond stupid to me, and when that guy goes 0-7 with a bunch of Ks and failed bunt attempts its frustrating....to be completely honest, you can probably count on one hand the number of times ive booed one of our own guys....royce clayton, rick white come to mind........and i understand why people feel bad for him, he didnt make himself the opening day leadoff/CF, but to me thats not a reason to not boo if fans are frustrated

Because the Royals still have their "Royals" stigma, fans think it should be a slugfest. A Greinke-Cruz-Soria pitching line is damn strong. I expected an L in this one, even with the Sox knocking around Greinke last season.

The sad thing is that Floyd gave the offense a chance to win the game. And they're running out of time.

Wise isn't the only player we should be booing, the SP is getting it done and if it werent for Thome's clutch shot yesterday,we would be looking at 0-2 start, blech

yeah the entire O looks a bit off....im sure well hear the cold excuse at some point
