Not a fan of the play calling either but if your oline doesn't get blown up there is no reason not to be able to run it in there. This is also where I hate the fact that all the Bears receivers are so small. I love the fade route around the goal line.

Just should have done a QB sneak, it's been our most efficient play tonight.

With the way Kreutz got blown up on those plays a sneak would have failed miserably.

kreutz is anotehr guy who just doesn't have the drive off the ball he used to

Here Turner. We bought you a corvette. Can you explain why the cops pulled you over for 10 under the speed limit.

I love this post, great stuff SSI. It's disgusting, as Orton is actually a better fit for this type of offense probably (even though I hate him and enjoy Cutler).

Here comes the obligatory 99 yard drive to put it away. Book it.

The defense is going for strips instead of tackling, which is when bad things happen.

Thats the point. Kruetz is giving it up. I think on the 1 yard line your large QB might have a chance to maybe find a bit of leverage versus your running back who is starting 5 yards back. The line is getting blown up anyway. The QB at least has a chance, where as Forte is just meeting defenders a step into his handoff.

Exactly, BTW have our Defensive Ends done anything besides jump offsides tonight?

atlanta is just melting the clock away right now ...there was a time when the bears consistently were among the top in turnover margin....we are in the red in that area this year and that is what has killed us
