It is terrible. Was a problem last year and they did nothing to fix it. Hopefully TT spends some money on offensive linemen in the offseason or drafts a player or two.

The Vikings defensive line is still hard to stop regardless of whom you put out there. Edwards, Allen and the Williams wall is tough to stop.

Pack are looking to break the sacks against record.

I'm not sure if he was referring to the Bears or the Packers' O-line with that comment, but it really doesn't matter because they're both awful.

I figured the Packers since the comment was while the game was running and there were about 5 sacks for the Vikes at the time. But yes, both lines are awful.

Nice solid win for the Cowboys today, Romo hasn't thrown an INT in 3 games now which is progress.

Don't think we'll beat Philly in Philly next, but I'm a lot more confident about it than I was a few weeks ago.

This team should get a wild-card spot, but then again, they could have another December meltdown.

This was definitely a quarterbacks week. Romo, McNabb, Manning, Favre, Rodgers, etc.. were all damn good today.

Maybe I'm just excited, but this is the best Romo has looked in quite some time.

If the O-line can stick to picking up the blitz like they have been the last 2 games, the D continues to show up & the special teams do their job...I think they take the game against Philly next week.

Agreed on the playoff spot only because outside of Minnesota & New Orleans, there aren't any other teams that have made themselves known in the NFC.

I'm sure he was talking about the Bears line...he likes to jump in and comment when he can, even if it is late and the discussion is over.

Even still, the point applies to both lines. They both suck. And I agree, the Vikes' schedule is about as different (easier) as it can be while supposedly being the same as the rest of the division.

I was actually talking about the Bears oline, but the Packers oline sucks too. Ain't as bad as the Bears though. Rodgers holds onto the ball for extended periods of time.

You must of forgot week 1 when we played the Packers, their O-Line is probably the only one in the league that is worse than the Bears. It is kinda sad because both teams could definitely be playoff calibur if they had avg. to above avg. O-Lines.

That was mostly because of Barbre's suckitude, hasn't he been benched? Barbre was Ogunleye's b**** for most of that game.

Kokinis escorted out of building in Cleveland

Posted by Mike Florio on November 2, 2009 6:35 PM ET

There's a very strong rumor in league circles that the Cleveland Browns escorted G.M. George Kokinis out of the building today, the first business day into the team's bye week.

Jay Glazer has heard the same thing, and he'll be posting something soon at FOXSports.com.

For now, it's a rumor -- but a very, very strong one. (Or just "very". We're on the fence about it.)

Recently, the Browns fired Erin O'Brien, the director of football operations. O'Brien served as coach Eric Mangini's personal assistant when Mangini was the head coach of the Jets.

Kokinis was hand picked by Mangini to be the G.M. In many cities, the General Manager supervises the head coach and holds "final say" authority over the roster. In Cleveland, Kokinis is (was?) second fiddle to Mangini.

There previously had been speculation in league circles that Mangini would throw Kokinis under the bus if necessary to save Mangini's job. If the rumor of Kokinis' departure is accurate, the speculation will now be that Mangini sacrificed Kokinis now in order to get through the rest of the year, and possibly beyond.

UPDATE: We're hearing the same information from more and more sources, including one source who witnessed Kokinis collect his things and exit the building.

Barbre has been better since that game, but yes Barbre definitely brought the O Line down to his level that first game. Spitz, Colledge and Barbre are the three problems on their offensive line. Green B

A healthy Clifton in the lineup and Tauscher returning soon should improve the line some.

Not to overlook the season but with an uncapped offseason I would hope Green Bay attacks the free agent market for once. They have I believe 15 million in cap room to do so.

Chiefs claim Chris Chambers off waivers from SD.

I was hoping the Bears would put a claim on him, but even if they did I guess the Chiefs would get first bid anyways,

I wonder who else goes on waivers and if the Bears plan to make a move? Probably not, but you never know

They could have the best receivers in football and it wouldn't matter. Cutler doesn't have time to get them the football anyway.

LOL at the article by Telander today(who I'm generally a fan of) complaining about how Cutler gives PC answers and doesn't have a personality.

"Wah wah wah, we don't have a real QB"

*Bears get a legit QB*

"Wah wah wah, our QB doesn't like to disclose his personal life"

Telander and Morrissey are pretty much the same beast, and I cant stand either of them for the scenario you presented above, it is 100% true.

In other news, John Harbaugh hits the 'Boys below the belt:

http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/i...oys-in-new-book

Asked why the Eagles have had so much success from 1999-2008 and the Cowboys haven't won a playoff game during that period, Harbaugh had this to say:

"Why is that? Because what Andy Reid and his program stand for is the opposite of what the Cowboys stand for. The Cowboys are a star system. It's all about building around individuals first and collecting talent, collecting great players. Andy has always been about building a team. And over the long haul, it's a team sport, and one of the greatest examples of that is what's happened with the Eagles and the Cowboys over the last 10 years. The Cowboys stand for everything that's wrong with the NFL."

Harbaugh spent nine years with the Eagles as a special teams and secondary coach before becoming the head coach in Baltimore in 2008. Obviously, his dislike of the Cowboys hasn't faded over time. Harbaugh made that comment last March.

Your move, DBAHO ;)
