MurcieOne
QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 12:50 PM) Do Bears WR ever make tough plays? No, both Devins dropped Tds today.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 12:02 PM) Shanahan could be named Skin coach tomorrow or later in teh week. Bucs staff has been told they will all be back next year. I've said it plenty of times, I only fire Lovie if we hire Cowher. I agree. I think the lamb this year will be Turner like last year it was Babich. Next year, if they continue to suck at least Lovie will be on the clock and maybe even Angelo. Balta1701
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 11:02 PM) Its been done before, it will be done again. Coaches with teams that are cruising into the playoffs routinely sit players to make sure nothing happens to them en route to the playoffs. Unfortunately for the Colts, it cost them their undefeated season And Wes Welker gives the argument about why the coaches that do that are right. Balta1701
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 02:45 PM) Should probably tell Jim Caldwell that considering he played Manning today. Although the conditions weren't exactly favorable, given that the Colts have a bye next week, I don't mind giving him a series or two just to keep his timing at "Game-pace". southsideirish71
Once again, the defense is getting taken apart. And our offensive line looks like crap. We move the pocket last week like crazy, this week Turner goes back to what he knows. Not much more time in the Turner(shoop) era. Hopefully Lovey joins him in the unemployed ranks. Not really. Also: only one team has won the Super Bowl after losing the last two games of the regular season. And that was in 1967.

Gregory Pratt
From Twitter: AroundTheHorn Colts benched starters last week because they don't care about seasonal stats, then play Peyton/Wayne/Clark today for Consec Starts and 100 recepts

ChWRoCk2
Steelers and Dolphins game is a good one. Hoping Dolphins pull off a miracle run to win it. Hate the Steelers. Nice to see Houston win, hopefully they can get some help and make the playoffs.
Kyyle23
QUOTE (Gregory Pratt @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 02:33 PM) Not really. Also: only one team has won the Super Bowl after losing the last two games of the regular season. And that was in 1967. What do you mean "not really". Wes Welker is a perfect example of a freak injury that could happen to anyone regardless if he is touched or not(And now Brady has 3 broken ribs), proving that sometimes safety on the side of caution works. The Patriots werent playing for any more seeding. they clinched their division and had no shot at a higher seed.

MHizzle85
Cowboys clinch the East & pitch back to back shutouts for the first time in team history. It's hard enough to beat a team 3 times in a year, but now the 'Boys have gotta beat Philly in back to back weeks. Good game all around. I feel good about next week. *raises roof for NFC East title & a home playoff game*
DBAHO
Best performance of the season argubly today from us, but we've got to do it all again next week against the Eagles. The key to beating them is to not let Jackson beat you down field with big plays and to keep Trent Cole in check as a pass rusher. You do those 2 things, it goes a long way to beating Philly. But we seen to have found a nice balance with Barber and Felix Jones now, Miles Austin is a flat out stud (if the Bears want a WR in the off-season, him or Jackson should be your targets), and the defence looked good once again. WhiteSoxfan1986
Good to see Cutler have another good game today. It's nice to see him end the season on a positive note after all the s*** he's taken. Finished with more TDs than picks too. And I'm loving the fact that Denver choked the 2nd half of the year. Josh McDaniels is a complete joke. The idiots will still say that Orton had the same record as Cutler, but won't point out the fact that Denver went from having the 30th ranked defense last season and had the 8th ranked D this year. Without Cutler their offensive stats took a dive too, IIRC they were the #2 offense last season. They would've been a Super Bowl contender this year with Cutler.
