ESPN slurped New England and Green Bay. My predictions, thus, were Baltimore and now Arizona.

It's time for people to realize that New England cannot win on past reputation alone. They are New England, but that's not an explanation for why they will win a game. It's not 2000-2004.

I don't remember a week of football where I've seen as many overthrown footballs as I've seen these last 2 days.

I liked when Theisman said yesterday that the Bengals' biggest problem was that "Carson Palmer is high right now."

The FG kicking has been rather poor too. Sort of took the wind out of the sails of both the Bengals and the Patriots in their comeback attempts.

Counting college bowls, I know I've seen more missed field goals than made field goals. Kicking in both levels has been dismal the last month.

Damn, if only Arizona recovered that fumble, this game would likely be ovah by half time.

I bet Adams got chewed over by his coach on that pathetic sack attempt.

That was a horsecollar, not the other call.

TRIFECTA!

. . .

Pretty non-playoffs that so many games are inside this year.
