Alexei with two hits. Quentin had two hits. Corky freakin' Miller had two hits. Bartolo pitched well with the aid of his high-80s fastball.

 

If this was July and the Twins had Mauer, this game might have been a little different. But a win's a win and at least we know Bartolo can pitch.

 

BTW, I liked Lillibridge (good patience at the plate, put down a good bunt) and Fields continues to impress.

Most people said Bartolo was low 90's for at least a chunk of the day, Farmer said he topped out at 93.

Good job from the offense. This obviously isn't the same Liriano of the past. In fact, he looks rather mediocre now. I guess it won't difficult anymore to answer the question of"Where's our Liriano," because it seems he has become a #3/#4 starter with 6 mph knocked off his fastball.
