caulfield12
Jordan Danks has two walks tonight...raising his season total to 4, batting .261 overall. However, he does have an unacceptable 10 K's in just 23 AB's. No Barons game (playing Tennessee tmrw) and no White Sox game. Boring day/night. flavum
My expectations for Jordan Danks are low. Let's see what he can do over the next couple years, and then talk in 2011.

NorthSideSox72
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 14, 2009 -> 05:34 PM) Jordan Danks has two walks tonight...raising his season total to 4, batting .261 overall. However, he does have an unacceptable 10 K's in just 23 AB's. No Barons game (playing Tennessee tmrw) and no White Sox game. Boring day/night. Look at the W-S lineup that Danks hits in. the rest of them are pretty bad. They are probably pitching around Danks, and he hasn't yet figured out how to lay off. That is, IMO, probably a main reason for his high walk and k totals (14 of his 27 PA).

scenario
Nice outing for JVB last night in Charlotte's 3-1 win. 5 innings; 1 run on 6 hits; 6K's and 1BB. Egbert picked up the save.
caulfield12
Egbert would be the best bet right now to replace MacDougal or Carrasco...just when you think DJ is about to lose it and implode completely, he sneaks out of the situation somehow, and pretty consistently.
