Brian
QUOTE (TitoMB345 @ Apr 17, 2009 -> 07:01 PM) Whoever said this stadium sounds like a carnival yesterday was spot on. I hate watching games from Tropicana and Rogers Centre on TV. So dull.
Dick Allen
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Apr 17, 2009 -> 07:09 PM) DJ just said Bartolo got it up to 93. He was throwing 95 last year. I think he'll get it back up there eventually as long as all his parts stay intact.

He's never been a great breaking-ball hitter, but from my memories of last season, he didn't freeze up on off-speed pitches. I remember that he used to adjust very well to all kinds of pitches in the middle of at bats.
fathom
QUOTE (chw42 @ Apr 18, 2009 -> 01:39 AM) Did somebody screw with Alexei this off-season? He's never been a great breaking-ball hitter, but from my memories of last season, he didn't freeze up on off-speed pitches. I remember that he used to adjust very well to all kinds of pitches in the middle of at bats. His swing is just entirely too long.
