Yeah, that pisses me off too.

What would Danks' record be if he had half the run support Gavin has received since 2008?

Why in the world is JO(ke) playing in CF with BA going to right?

Because the score is 12-2

He had something like 20% of his fly balls last year hit for home runs, which was good for about 7th in baseball. He doesn't have the track record in the majors where you would project that to happen again this year. He also hit 5 "lucky" home runs last year. Those two things along with him coming off a wrist injury and it seems pretty reasonable to think that he wasn't going to hit 40 home runs if he stayed healthy all year.

The thing about all those quentin metrics is he just tries to hit the ball hard and a lot of them go out, hes a line drive hitter first but his power leads to lots of drives being home runs. Hes just a great hitter.

And he was that when he was tearing up the minors too. Him doing this in the majors when healthy shouldn't be much of a surprise.

thats the thing that drove me nuts about the Bernstein comment. There is no track record in the majors that can be counted on with any sort of certainty, but if you look at his minor league numbers you would think that Quentin is just doing his thing. Which he is.

Ya but when he is 40, they will not be homers!!!!!!!

Stoney says the fans are booing the balls & strikes.

Someone is going to hurt themself swinging so hard.

Hamilton is a fantastic talent. That being said, he wouldn't reach what he did last year playing anywhere else except maybe Colorado, either Chicago team, or Cincinnati.

Last year, Hamilton had tons of talent around him to get on base. If Quentin had Kinsler, Davis, Murphy, and Young around him, he would have driven in 150 runs had he played the last month.

They showed him earlier he was smiling, laughing and blabbing away with teammates. Lot's of things we don't see on tv...

Off topic but a marketing hint

Wrigleyville Sports want to cater to all Chicago fans and has many different commercials......they need to tailor the commercial to the team that is palying (i.e. when you show the store, show other swag other than cub crap).

Carry on.

Yea,I hate that fu*king commercial,this is a Sox telecast!
