witesoxfan
seriously, where is the option that just say, no, I'm not concerned
JorgeFabregas
You missed one of the most popular answers -- not worried at all and expect the power to come.
Kalapse
not in the f***ing least
Dick Allen
I don't think he's the 40-50 homer guy some have him pegged as, but more like the same type of home run totals Crede had.
G&T
QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Apr 22, 2009 -> 08:34 PM) You missed one of the most popular answers -- not worried at all and expect the power to come. That would be the answer. I love the fact that he is learning to hit rather than just swinging for the fences. That kid has ridiculous power. It'll come. DaTank
Just added the others. Sorry guys, my mind's a little sluggish today.
fathom
If he doesn't hit a homer soon, we might have to consider releasing him.
NorthSideSox72
aaaaaand... 23 minutes after this thread was started.... BAM!
JorgeFabregas
Mercy. This thread was supposed to motivate him, right?

clyons
As I'm about to type "NO," you can put Josh's 2-runner on the board, "Yes!"
ThunderBolt
OWNED!
joejoedairy
next poll... are you concerned with alexie's early seaon hitting
lostfan
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 22, 2009 -> 08:51 PM) aaaaaand... 23 minutes after this thread was started.... BAM! lol. Right on that pitch I said "come on Josh, now would be a nice time to show that power." 5 seconds later...
ChesterCopperpot
I'm very concerned. He didn't hit that ball far enough for my liking.
joejoesox
How often do you want your #2 hitter swinging for the fences? I think he's doing a great job in that slot, and is doing more with the bat than he was in 2007 when he was further down in the order He's shown a lot of patience and I don't think he's lost any of his power, I think he's doing what ozzie probably has asked of him in the 2-hole
danman31
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 22, 2009 -> 07:40 PM) I don't think he's the 40-50 homer guy some have him pegged as, but more like the same type of home run totals Crede had. I think he's a much better power hitter than Crede. I would expect Josh to more consistently be in the 30 HR range, or at least I believe he is capable of that. Goober
I'm very concerned. We all know his average probably won't stay above .263 for long, so he needs to bring something (power) to the table.
Kyyle23
QUOTE (Tmar @ Apr 23, 2009 -> 04:53 AM) I'm very concerned. We all know his average probably won't stay above .263 for long, so he needs to bring something (power) to the table. I think he needs to bring other things to the table, like spoons and forks, maybe a water pitcher with a lemon in it.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (joejoedairy @ Apr 22, 2009 -> 09:17 PM) next poll... are you concerned with alexie's early seaon hitting Quickly followed by one about Contreras's pitching...
