Harry Chappas
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 29, 2009 -> 04:49 PM) Whatever. His average is lower than BA's, he sucks. The only issue keeping TCQ from being a superstar are the random bad at-bats. He is also not real good at judging fly balls. Other than he is the goods. What is the status of this game BTW? I am at work and jumping in and out of this thread trying to stir the pot. God Bless BA and hope for good health.

Whitewashed in '05
Easy 1-2-3 for Bobby! I love those! He was popping it today. Even with that ugly blonde facial hair. Jr looked overmatched. Edited April 29, 2009 by Whitewashed in '

JorgeFabregas
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 29, 2009 -> 02:11 PM) There goes our best scoring opportunity of the game. Anderson and Ramirez will be in trouble with that big curveball. Betemit, too. Over/under on White Sox hits today? 3, 4 or 5? QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 29, 2009 -> 02:14 PM) what up Miss Cleo Bump. caulfield12
QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Apr 29, 2009 -> 05:00 PM) Bump. Ummmmm....Betemit got his hits off the relievers. Alexei hit a fastball up the middle. Anderson didn't hit anything today but his oblique muscle.

Alexei hit a fastball up the middle. Anderson didn't hit anything today but his oblique muscle. Betemit got his hits off of the right handed relievers. He hits better left handed. qwerty
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 29, 2009 -> 03:59 PM) Here's the main problem I have with Anderson. He's just baseball-dumb. He has no concept of cutting down his swing on a fastball and just making contact or hitting a sacrifice fly. All he has to do is hit a ground ball or fly ball to the right side of the field. Brian just takes that big, looping swing on a 93 MPH fastball that he could take 100 times and he wouldn't make contact with once. No excuse not to score 2 runs in that situations with 2nd and 3rd, no outs. I wanted to mention it earlier but i forgot. With runners on 2nd and 3rd and no outs there is roughly 0.700 chance of those two runs coming around to score. I guess it is inexcusable when every other team in baseball does not score those two runs 0.300 of the time also.
knightni
Floyd gets so damn lucky with run support. Too bad he left an inning too early to win.
witesoxfan
QUOTE (knightni @ Apr 29, 2009 -> 08:36 PM) Floyd gets so damn lucky with run support. Too bad he left an inning too early to win. he allowed 3 runs. And he really didn't get run support, the bullpen got the run support.
