Contreras on alert

Recommended Posts

Jose Contreras is guaranteed just one more start, according to manager Ozzie Guillen.

Contreras, 0-4 with a 8.31 ERA, will pitch Thursday against the Tigers. If he struggles once again, he will be kicked to the bullpen. But at this point, there isn't a clear choice to replace him in the rotation. Clayton Richard is an option, but not a great one. Stay tuned

Hi, my name is Aaron Poreda. You may remember me from such films as i'm a top prospect, who almost made the team in spring, who just threw a five-inning no-hitter, and is a Lefty who tops out at 97. Sooner the kid perfects that slider, the sooner we can get him up here. He's working with Perdew, Correct?

Catfish threw a chicken slider, best I ever seen.

Well the chicken slider era was totally different than the non-chicken slider era. Truly, one of baseball's lost arts.

Contreras could be dominant, and it wouldnt matter with the cesspool of has-beens and never-will-be's we are running out in CF and RF.

RF is temporary, a couple days of scrubs will happen now and then.

CF though...

ESPN insider reporting that the Sox have talked to Pedro...

I don't know about stuff, but his personality would be a perfect in our clubhouse. As long as he doesn't hit .219...
