Dick Allen
QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2009 -> 08:43 PM) With Fields striking out so much lately, I checked his game log: multiple strike out games in 9 of his last 14 I've never been a Josh Fields guy, but he hasn't been so bad defensively this year. He needs to hit homers. 30 homers and 180 strikeouts isn't ideal from your #2 hitter, but its a lot better than 20 homers and 180 ks.
Balta1701
QUOTE (Dick Allen @ May 7, 2009 -> 06:54 PM) I've never been a Josh Fields guy, but he hasn't been so bad defensively this year. He needs to hit homers. 30 homers and 180 strikeouts isn't ideal from your #2 hitter Josh really, really shouldn't be hitting #2 right now. fathom
Man, Jenks just hasn't found his curve ball this year. Neither every one he's thrown has been up in the zone.

Harry Chappas
Flipped on the Sox post game and missed the friggin goal I am not a Pods fan but he looks much more comfortable in center than left. Nix should be given the 2nd spot for a week or so. He looked really good at short. As I said yesterdya about POds, Nix gives this team what Ramirez can not right now, good solid AB's. southsider2k5
They had Perry topping out at 94/95, so they might have been underestimating the guy all night. I don't think I saw MB over 87 either.
