CanOfCorn
QUOTE (fathom @ May 12, 2009 -> 04:23 PM) No idea how this could have happened. INstead of hitting the bat with his hand, he decided to give it a roundhouse kick.
elrockinMT
QUOTE (CanOfCorn @ May 12, 2009 -> 09:24 PM) INstead of hitting the bat with his hand, he decided to give it a roundhouse kick. Shame. Now who plays in the OF?

BigSqwert
QUOTE (fathom @ May 12, 2009 -> 04:23 PM) No idea how this could have happened. Maybe he stepped on Lillibridge in the locker room.
justBLAZE
We have an outfield of Pods, Lillibridge, Dye.
caulfield12
The only time I've ever had an injured heel (and I'm assuming it's the foot and not the Achilles') was from landing akwardly on the back of my foot/heel at first base...and that sucked, because it was a "soft tissue" injury and it was really painful, and didn't "heal" until I just basically didn't play any sports for a couple of weeks. Aside from an oblique strain, that's the worst. The biggest question, will Ozzie be crazy enough to start Lillibridge at 1/2 in the batting order because it's a LHP...Getz or Pods has to be first or second, assuming he wouldn't "promote" Fields back to that spot. G&T
The Score, so I assume it came from Cowley, said that he already had a cortizone shot. So it's probably something like tendinitis.

BigSqwert
QUOTE (GoSox05 @ May 12, 2009 -> 04:43 PM) Awesome! Things have been going so awesome this year. We'll probably hear Hawk say something in September like: "Back in May when Quentin went down for 5 days that really affected this team and it was so hard for us to recover" as if we were cruising along up until today. Heads22
I want to figure out what sort of voodoo god that Brent Lillibridge prays to in order to keep finding a place in the lineup.

greg775
Looks like it's going to be one of those years, although CQ actually probably could use a week off because he's been a mess at the plate. Except we have absolutely nobody to put in for him. Lilly can't hit.
Balta1701
It's also possible Anderson could be back later this week, it'll have been 15 days for him on Thursday.
claydude14
Every game Lillibridge plays I'm closer to making that impulse jersey-shirt purchase.
