Before people act as if Cecil is a nonamer, it should be mentioned he was one of the Blue Jays top prospects and is was a #1 draft pick two years ago, IIRC. This isn't a nobody and he has done nothing but pitch exceptionally well in his professional career (shooting through the minors).

Yep and after 3 at-bats each the Sox hitters should have seen his arsenal enough to maybe get him next game.

Why would you not at least take a couple of pitches the first time through. 3 innings 6 called strikes. Not the way to see what a guy has got.

It will be interesting to see if Walker is with the Sox after this series. I have a feeling he'll be the fall guy. This team is just awful. I've never seen a team get fewer hits during the first few innings of a game than this team has. They definitely don't come out as intense and focused as they should.

I used to be eager everyday to watch the Sox, but this season, it's just not there. We're not very fun to watch at all in my opinion.

I do like watching Buehrle and Danks pitch though.

It's been that way basically since game 2 of this season.

The approach does not change from one game to the next. From the get go this team looks overmatched on certain days and they do nothing to change the tempo of the pitcher.

You know based on the first four innings and many other games this season that they may get a run or two later when the game is out of reach after Broadway gets his hands on the game.

I will use the Minnesota game yesterday as the kind of game the White Sox are incapable of playing.

They look like they just do not care.
