So suddenly Gavin Floyd stinks and we have two good starters. Our third best is Bartolo Colon.

Many of you knew Gavin was a fluke. Our scouts and baseball people thought he was good enough to reward monetarily.

Lexi is hitting .212, Fields .231, Miller .214 and Lilly .164. Quentin is hurt and may keep getting hurt because opposing pitchers plunk him constantly.

Getz is down to .240.

We can't come close to beating a real team like Toronto.

It's gonna be a long summer.

Yes, last year was a success. We took a team that had no business competing and beat our rivals for the AL Central crown. Last year has nothing to do with this year, which is shaping up to be a disaster in virtually every aspect. Not only are we losing, but our core group of players for the future are struggling to prove they can be counted on.

So you're basically saying a fluke year = successful year.

We suck...you don't even have to break it down.

I told myself I was going to give this team until the end of May to declare this season a failure, but that's hard to do with the way they're playing. Trying to stay optimistic by saying its a rough patch, but they're really showing it's a rough season.

Yes...it was successful. You play the season to make the playoffs, and you go from there. Thus, it was successful...END OF STORY!

Last year was a good, successful year. How can anybody argue that? I can see what they were trying to do this year, mix high paid vets with low paid young talent. The young talent can't hit and in the case of Floyd, pitch, while the vets haven't been miserable but are not producing a lot of runs.

Will attendance take a hit this year or have the Sox sold so many season tix they'll be fine attendance wise?

Walk-up tickets will be awful. Again, KW will have no one to blame but himself if he doesn't have more than 50 cents to spend next year.
