I was just thinking what a way to impress a guy that has reservations about coming here.

I was thinking the same thing also. I doubt if he would want to come to this sad bunch we have on this team.

Yeah, but at least Thome hit Mauer in the head with the bat that game.

God, i was at that game, Mike Redmond got hit in the head, had to come out. Mauer was the DH had to come in and catchso the pitcher had to hit. We got blown out with a freaking pitcher hitting. That was a terrible game, Gavin Floyd looked a lot like he does this year that game!

Actually, that is two interesting questions.

1. Who is the Sox' current emergency pitcher from the position players?

2. If you were managing, who of the position players would you pitch?

Betemit or Corky Miller

The middle relief for this team is just sad. Jimmy Gobble should have been left out there to die and then put on a bus with Wilson Betemit and sent out of town.

But, we would have had to pay for their bus tickets

What gets the most news time tonight over Baseball TN or MLB channel-this absolute beat down or the Peavy story? :bang :stick :huh :crying

Easy. The Peavy story. Because Sox games never get any attention... WhiteSox that is.

Well even if we get Peavy, KW should not be impressed with the team he has given Sox fans this year (especially after jacking up ticket prices in a terrible economy). This has to be on pace to be the worse loss the sox have ever had?
