UGH.

Rowand 123 ab,302 ab, 157 ab=582 ab

Fields 20 ab, 373 ab,32 ab,145 ab=570 ab

Why would you completely ignore Rowand's 4th year and give the 145 ABs for Fields?

It's exactly how Alexei hit last year. IT was like a lightswitch in mid/late May.

The most underrated moment of the year was DJ calling his first homer of the year, which came in a 0-0 game in the mid innings at San Fran. DJ was like "Alexei's going to homer here and give us a 2-0 lead".

3 seasons vs 4 seasons. Try again.

Same amount of AB, same age, do you really want me to give you Rowand's year 4 it will blow Fields away. Rowand had a .273 avg. after 582 ab. Fields won't ever see his career avg. at .273. Fields is 26 years old. I would give him some slack if he truely was a kid, but he blows.

LMAO, dude, he played 100 game, showed elite power potential, then got SENT DOWN for an entire season. He's played 1 FULL season as far as $ of games in his career. Rowand was already at 180+ by the time he was 24.

20 AB = cup of coffee

373 AB = positive rookie season that made a lot of people very optimistic about his future

32 AB = emergency cup of coffee during a season where he was on one knee

145 AB = first actual opportunity to take the job and run with it, also his first healthy season

honestly, do you guys think Becks has any chance to be up here soon?

Can Getz play 3b?

He has a chance to be up here tomorrow, but it becomes a matter of "WHERE WOULD HE PLAY!?!??!" You don't really want to put him at 3rd, Alexei is at SS and has been hitting well lately. Getz is having a nice night. Anderson has been pretty damn good.

Rowands fourth year he hit .310. I don't think Fields is going to hit .310. If anything, it makes Josh's .215 look like he should be a Knight.
