It was a broken bat, but far from a bloop. Keep talking s*** about him. Keep saying he's not a baseball player. It seems to be working the past 2 days.

I really want him to succeed, I have always been a Fields fan, dating all the way to when I first came and even before that. But this year he hasn't shown me anything to have any faith in him doing anything at the MLB level.

weak grounder to 2nd base and he sits at 3B with his thumbs up his ass?

let me make it clear i'm listening to the game via the score

he had no f***ing chance. jesus christ man back off. if he'd have run he'd have been out and you would've been complaining too. goddamn

I thought he could have tried on nix's groundout but with 0 outs it was probably the right call to stay. He had no chance on the miller groundout as the infield played in (or maybe it was regular depth for corky)

I wonder who they will call up with Quentin most likely DLed. I hope its not Lillibridge. There really is nothing at Charlotte that interests me in the least.

They'll call up Wise in a few days.

He singled to LF. He stole 2B. He made it to 3rd on an error.

I would say Wise, but I would figure he'd go on a rehab stint first. It'd be someone who could play the OF, so Lillibridge is definitely an option... sadly.

So a career .215 hitter who hasn't played in a couple of months will get 10 or 12 AB and get the call? I hope not, but its probably going to happen. The weakness of the White Sox system in the past is really biting them in the ass so far this season.

Jordan Danks now batting .391 at Birmingham.

He's really been incredible. As crazy as this sounds, I kind of hope he goes into a funk pretty soon. He's raked since he's signed. I think he needs a little adversity. It would do him good in the long run IMO.

I would love to get Rooney back in the radio booth with Farmer. And then have D.J. go to the MLBNetwork and be one of their commentators and analysts.

Never gonna happen, but I can hope.

Everyone would love Rooney back. But I've really enjoyed the Farmer/DJ pairing so far this year. Yeah, it's not anything involving Steve Stone but it has been pretty good to me.
