chw42
I should have started JD this week in fantasy instead of that fatass Carlos Lee.

greg775
I was impressed with that at bat by Fields. That blast was a pleasant surprise. Nice at bat, Josh.
chw42
In the last two games we've played against these guys, we've scored 11 runs in 11 innings. Pretty good. The pitching just wasn't there in the last game we played against these guys.
greg775
Dye is a big dude. It takes that body a loooonnnnn time to get moving in the right direction.
chw42
QUOTE (fathom @ May 29, 2009 -> 07:40 PM) He seems slow everywhere. He needs some DH time come next year. That's if he comes back with the option. I don't see why not unless there's better free agents out there in the market that are somehow cheaper.
greg775
No matter what happens with Clayton, at least he works pretty quickly. You've got to love that approach.

chw42
There are just some guys the White Sox can't get out. Mark Teahen's one of them.

TylerAtIU
Off topic... but anyone else notice Dontrelle Willis has gone 5 inns and given up 7 runs, also Matt Wieters is 0-3 because he too is afraid of Slayer coming up to the majors...
G&T
Since when did Clayton throw in the mid 90's?
greg775
If Clayton throws 96 mph like it just said on the Royals' TV screen, why aren't we higher on him as a prospect? That's pretty damn fast.

chw42
QUOTE (greg775 @ May 29, 2009 -> 07:51 PM) If Clayton throws 96 mph like it just said on the Royals' TV screen, why aren't we higher on him as a prospect? That's pretty damn fast. He can touch 96. He's usually low 90s though. He wasn't this kind of pitcher back in AAA. He was more of a ground-ball pitcher than a strikeout pitcher. I wonder what happened.
TylerAtIU
96 might be a little fast for Clayton but I definitely think hes is getting it up to 94 when he needs it
