BamaDoc
On some sports site I found a link to a Jack Mcdowell blog but I can't find it now. He was commenting on the baseball album and Yankee Flipper and secondly on pitching philosophy which I am trying to find for a friend. Someone please help. Thanks in advance
Wise Master Buehrle
It might have been on yahoo! sports. this is an excerpt from wikipedia: For a while, he was also an "Expert," writing about baseball, for Yahoo! Sports.

TLAK
From 5/14, he talks about how the game has changed in that starters aren't expected to go as long and how it has changed their approach early in games. He ends with this: So here's a bit of advice from an ancient age...throw fastballs early and throw strikes and attack the hitters. They are going to fail 7 out of 10 times if they are SUPERSTARS. Cowering down and trying to paint the corners with pitches while playing it safe only puts the ball in the hitter's corner. I tell all the young pitchers I coach that a fastball down the middle with a little F@#* you behind it will be far more effective than a so called "perfect" pitch on the corner thrown with only hopeful intentions. F'ing poetry.
