bighurt4life
Charlotte plays Toledo at 6:30 Carlos Torres and his 2.12 ERA take on Jeremy Bonderman Birmingham v. Huntsville Flowers hit his 7th bomb of the season. He's also got a ridiculous OBP of .435 W-S v. Kinston Shirek got his 8th win of the season and Marrero hit his 5th HR, Morel back in the lineup but Gerst didn't play again. Not sure why he isn't the every day CF, seems to play every other game or so. Kanny v. Delmarva
Heads22
Slayer is dreamy.
fathom
Slayer is 2-2 against Bonderman...the only 2 hits against him so far.
OilCan
Make it 3-3 for SLAYER!!! Hopefully half of Birmingham will be called up to join him very soon at AAA.

Kenny Hates Prospects
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ May 31, 2009 -> 07:29 PM) Beckham got out, time to trade him. In all seriousness, with Kenny being as busy as he has been, we're going to be hearing about ridiculous Beckham trade rumors all the way until the deadline, and probably well into 2010. Unless we're talking Hanley, Pujols, etc. that dude is going nowhere.

I just can't wait until Charlotte gets a new stadium (they're getting a new stadium, right?). I just don't want to see the hitters getting into bad habits in the band box they play half their games in.
ThunderBolt
The best think about his promotion to AAA is that Slayer gets to prove he can hit major league pitching. There’s a lot more upside down in AA, but everybody in AAA has already been to the bigs, or just never is gonna get there.

JPN366
B'ham's division lead is slipping and Mobile is catching up. There's 19 games left in the first half, the Barons need all the good mojo they can get.

There's 19 games left in the first half, the Barons need all the good mojo they can get. Wow With the start they got off to, I didn't think anyone would be close to them. NorthSideSox72
Toledo ended up beating Charlotte 6-0. Beckham finished 3-4, Torres got hit around. Knightni should check out the guy who closed for Toledo.
scenario
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 08:24 AM) Knightni should check out the guy who closed for Toledo. LOL. Family maybe?

South Side Fireworks Man
QUOTE (bighurt4life @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 01:15 PM) Beckham was starting at SS BTW, didn't notice that until now. He seems to be making a lot of errors so far this season. He was supposed to be a good defenser. I hope he's not being pushed too quickly.
