justBLAZE
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 10:11 PM) Frustrating to lose to another pitcher nobody's ever heard of. Yeah, he's a great prospect. I won't moan and groan, just say I feel for the poor fans who were in attendance for another blanking in the Cell. It's no fun to be in the stands when your team doesn't do s***. I was at THAT Minnesota game. ;-(

chw42
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 09:04 PM) 7 2/3s innings, 3 hits, 4 bbs, and 1k for his major league debut. LOLZ Watch him get lit up in his next start. Seriously, where's our advanced scouting?
greg775
I know Colon has been OK this year, but wouldn't you rather try Whisler? Bartolo's line today was pretty ordinary to bad against a bad A's team.
Whitewashed in '05
The Pods pickoff was bad on all levels. Not only was this rookie already looking really shaky, but we had the heart of the order coming up. Had we got at least that one run, who knows he could have completely unraveled. Just a real poor effort on the hitters parts tonight. Then they brought in Ziegler and Breslow who have been lit up by everyone and they still get nothing.
