that is the long term hopes,

why was this trade made? again what did kw say he made this trade.

answer to help us this yr, to solidify the bullpen this yr, to give us a closer that can come in and close the game.

Yeah, those were the intentions...but seemingly someone would have made sure Koch was healthy enough to actually do it.

and whose fault is that?????????????????????

The trade was made for this yr... and on those terms kenny lost this trade.

Long term...That f***ing geek foulke is leaving the A's after this year, and William Koch is here for two more years with a chance to regain his 2002 form. In addition to that we could have just added a front of the rotation starter who is a lefty. Unless Joe Valentine pans out to be pretty good... I think Kenny still come out the victor of the koch deal.

Thats it Murcie...long-term we are better off...cause Foulke is walking, hopefully someone can straighten out Koch, and Cotts has a potential future.

all depends if we lost in the playoff b/c of a lack of a closer.

cotts is good and i like him, but that comp pick could be a hell of a player.

I, by no means, am  defending KW...just Koch....Kw and the advanced scouting is to lay this on

now i remember hearing that people were mentioning their concerns of botch's arm. but kw did not listen as he did not listen to others who mention that clayton was a clubhouse cance, that dlo was a jerk in the clubhouse.

so what does this tell you, kw doesn't not listen b/d he is all knowing.

and that comp pick could be Scott Ruffcorn, Eddie Pearson, Mike Caruso, Corwin Malone....crap shoot it is, and I'd rather have proven players, then random chances.

alright LDF.....

Then give props to KW for getting Alomar and Everett, and Colon.

Because at the end of the year...if they sign elsewhere... we get those 1st rnd picks as well.

or they could be prior, wood, peavy, and some of the better know prospects.

i would rather have foulke now and a chance to win now and take that crap shot at a comp pick.

i don't know about you, but i am tired or waiting for tomorrow

f*** yeah, me too...but I dont think that we have lost too many games based on the closer alone. There are SO many problems with this team, at least there were early in April and May.
