LDF
I think Kenny expressed my feelings best. "We didnt get Billy Koch we could have a curveball coming out of the bullpen...you expect him to come in and throw 96" or something along those lines. expecting him to throw 96 and him doing it have been two different things though......... real vague comment. uh

IndySoxFan
that guy from oakland seems to have gotten the better of the trade right now..... i dont think it is because he is the genius he wants everyone to think he is.... that is the nature of trades.... sometimes they work out ok, sometimes not... billy koch is not out to pasture yet.... and anything can happen to foulke( i hope not) i think if koch cant get his velocity, he could learn another pitch and become a dominant closer again. there are a ton of stories about pitchers given up for dead who have come back and been successful (gagne, jose lima, even kerry wood) not time to panic yet
Guest hotsoxchick1
indy i dont share your same thoughts there.. botch is out to pasture and ready for the shot........put him out of our misery now.....please.........
CubKilla
indy i dont share your same thoughts there.. botch is out to pasture and ready for the shot........put him out of our misery now.....please......... I loved watching Foulke shove it right back down the throats of JR and KW by saving the AllStar Game for the American League in the ballpark he used to call home. f*** Botch. He's done..... unless he can get his finesse stuff working..... preferably not down the middle of home plate and belt-high either

Capn12
indy i dont share your same thoughts there.. botch is out to pasture and ready for the shot........put him out of our misery now.....please......... BULLs***....the man has been completely OVERWORKED in the past by Oakland and Toronto, then KW goes and gets him without thinking of the consequences. Koch will be fine, I'm glad I have at least ONE supporter (thanks Indy). Foulke wouldnt have been here next year, hated our management, how many times has it been said. Foulke was screwed 6 ways to Sunday by this organization, and he woulda wanted NO part in being here any longer than he had to. All these people crowing about how good Cotts is, well...you cant have him AND Foulke.

Capn12
Because our other options stats areso much better Koch has blown the same amount of saves that Gordon has, in 6 less tries, without his out pitch. When Gordon starts to struggle, and he will, is everyone on here gonna be pissing and moaning about KW signing him as a FA? The scouting shoulda been dome on Kochs arm, it obviously wasnt, and yet its all Kochs fault that he has pitched a TON in the past.
