fathom
If Greg Walker doesn't lose his job after this week, he might as well sleep with Ozzie's wife because he never will lose his job.

Flash Tizzle
This is unf***ingbelievable. WHY IS BECKHAM SWINGING AT THE FIRST PITCH? Two straight ABs he has done this.

TitoMB345
59 pitches through 5. And this game is OVA!!!! 4 losses in a row. Cy Pavano absolutely murdered us. If Greg Walker isn't gone by the ASB, I'll be shocked.
joejoesox
Nice start for Gordon. 0-6, with a strikeout All kidding aside, he's being too anxious up there, let the game come to you This team will be at best a 4th place team once the season ends, that's my prediction I have a hard time believing CQ will come back and just dominate, he'll probably end up being average
Reddy
Walker needs to be gone. Getz needs to sit. And a rule needs to be put in place - you swing at pitch 1, you sit. I can't remember what manager did that this year... but goddamnit we need some f***ing management of this team.
Jerksticks
I wish we could pinpoint what the variable is that determines who shows up, corpseball or the thunder.

southsideirish71
Someone should tell Beckham, take a pitch when he gets up there. Watch the ball. Take a deep breath. Then swing away after tracking one through.

There's very little discipline on this team. When you're at the actual games, it's astonishing how little energy there is. Pods flew out to CF yesterday, and he wasn't even to first base by the time the ball was caught.
Flash Tizzle
I really want to believe Beckham has been told to swing early in the count by Walker, because if he has decided on his own to take two swings at the plate without so much as seeing what Pavano throws, he's not impressing me with his baseball intelligence. TitoMB345
ERA over 5? Get owned. Unknown pitcher/rookie? Get Owned. Good pitcher who we shouldn't hit? We own him. Weird.
daa84
energy and "thunder" and whatnot is caused by winning....the so called dead "corpseball" is caused by losing...not the other way around...not sure why so many people think otherwise though
