fathom
Wow, what a terrible player. There's a huge hole between 1b and 2b, and Anderson's pulling the low and away pitch. I'm beginning to hope we demote him soon and just DFA Wise. Go find a back-up outfielder...there's better ones playing for Newark in the Atlantic League. Reddy
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 6, 2009 -> 04:13 PM) Wasn't Josh Fields 13 for his last last 39? Now something like 14 for 40? No, that's NOT JUST BASED ON ONE AT-BAT, but it's even funnier that he hit tie-breaking homer in what could easily end up a 2-1 game. JESUS BACK. Obviously you haven't been following Fields' offensive resurgence (albeit singles mostly) the last 2-3 weeks. Besides Pods with his creeping stance, WHO IS HITTING THE BALL BETTER ON THE WHITE SOX NOW??? Pray tell. caulfield12
Why does BA always play like this after teasing us with a week of "decent" hitting?

Brian
No TV at work so have radio on. May not be saying much, but DJ is a thousand times better at radio play by play than Ed Farmer.
justBLAZE
QUOTE (daa84 @ Jun 6, 2009 -> 04:17 PM) and play who in CF? Alexei? and with who as a back up? Once Q comes back Podsednik will be the starting CF, with Anderson being the backup/defensive replacement. There's just no other way around it. fathom
QUOTE (chisox2334 @ Jun 6, 2009 -> 09:18 PM) anderson isnt a bad fourth outfielder. Doesn't need be demotoed, just need eveyrday cf But if he can't hit LHP, he's not going to help out very much. Between CQ/Pods/Dye, you're looking at a guaranteed number of starts due to injuries the rest of this year. We need better than BA.

Balta1701
QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 6, 2009 -> 02:17 PM) Why does BA always play like this after teasing us with a week of "decent" hitting? In most of his career Anderson has been a better hitter against RHP than LHP. When we platoon him and only play him against LHP, it screws him up on everything. It's been that way since 2006. caulfield12
QUOTE (Reddy @ Jun 6, 2009 -> 04:17 PM) Jermaine Dye AND AJ Pierzynski AND Alexei Ramirez Fields was 13 for his last 35 before the June 4th game.
