joejoesox
2009 Chicago White Sox are easily the worst team in baseball, at least right now anyways. There's no other team as bad as this one, and I'm being serious with that Prove me wrong? Nice swing though on that liner from Gordon

fathom
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 08:56 PM) Were we this bad in 2007? I say impossible. Yes we were worse. Remember Andy Gonzalez playing 3rd base? Our bullpen was also pathetic besides for Jenks. I will say this has the chance to go down as one of the worst home stands in recent memory. joejoesox
seriously, what the f*** man we load the bases, with no outs we get one run, because of a bases loaded walk not a single player who stepped to the plate after the bases were loaded were able to get even a f***ing base hit single that right there is organizational failure, thanks Kenny, thanks for being a terrible talent evaluator
The Ginger Kid
QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 01:52 PM) BA rocking a career .105 average with the bases loaded. it's because he's been mis-managed by Ozzie going back to 06.

This is the worst couple months of baseball I've ever watched, from any team, ever. Hopefully, they can recover a bit, but honestly, I don't see it happening. greg775
Colon must be released. Beckham is not ready for this. Our veterans are inconsistent. Fields, Castro, Nix, Beckham, Anderson were today's automatic outs. We usually have at least four automatic outs in the lineup in a given day. Playing this badly at home vs. .the A's and Indians is not good. Will Detroit win all five and put us out of our misery in mid June?

Beckham had by far the best at bat out of him BA and Nix how can you say hes not ready and think those two still belong on the team (Not to say Nix isn't a good utility guy and BA is a 4th outfielder) but COME ON can we please stop with this silliness that everytime Beckham doesn't get a hit he's not ready Edited June 7, 2009 by ChiSox420*

joejoesox
It's gonna be a rough couple of years for Sox fans after 2009, because our talent evaluator thinks Brian Anderson, Dwayne Wise, Brent Lillibridge (ARE YOU SERIOUS), Chris Getz, Jayson Nix, Josh Fields, Wes Whisler, Jimmy motherf***ing Gobble, and on, and on, and on, are major league ready, "Impact Players". That's what you said right Kenny? They were impact players. Admit it Williams, you drafted Beckham because you f***ing read Soxtalk and stole the idea from us, dips*** Edited June 7, 2009 by joesaiditstrue

greg775
Colon must be released. Beckham is not ready for this. Our veterans are inconsistent. Why would you want Colon around? How can you argue Beckham has not been rushed up? How can you argue our veteran bats are inconsitent? None of our veterans are capable of carrying this team for a period of time. Buehrle>Wood
Colon's ERA is still decent and he's cheap. If you want him gone, you mine as well get something for him. Edited June 7, 2009 by Buehrle>Wood
