Capn12
The guy looks like a real MLB hitter right now, and is working the lines well. Triple and a double so far today....good for Tony.

Jordan4life_2003
I've always thought Graffy was pretty underrated. He's swingin a very hot bat. I say bench Crede for a while and play him at 3rd. Maybe that will wake Crede's ass up who has been a HUGE dissapointment in my mind...

I COMPLETELY agree....Graffy should play 3B while he is hot, and leave Alomar at 2B...hes been catching on here lately.

southsider2k5
I hate to rain on parades, but Tony is best in small doses. He is a great spark plug, but still shouldn't start more than 2-3 times a week. He is dangerous as an unknown, but if pitchers see him too much becomes ineffective. Plus his D is scary... Everyone has a 4-5 game..... and that is what TG has going for him, in total, right now. Bench R Alomar, bench Thomas or Konerko, bench anybody you have to, just make sure TG plays . You're all smoking crack! I wish the best for TG but if any poster here thinks that he is a legitimate piece to the Sox AL Central Championship puzzle..... SOUND OFF LIKE YOU GOT A PAIR! I thought so .
Capn12
Yes, he is not full-time player...but while he's hot, you have to play him over Crede or JosE6

CubKilla
Yes, he is not full-time player...but while he's hot, you have to play him over Crede or JosE6 Unless TG is gonna be made the full-time Sox SS next season, you don't play him over Valentin or, especially, Crede..... who is the White Sox 3B future. I think TG proved to White Sox fans last season why he is best off of the bench player.

Capn12
Live and die with TG then I whole-heartedly agree, I DO NOT want TG in there everyday...but until he proves he isn't hitting, play him at 3B or SS, the positions we arent getting any production consistently out of. So a 4-5 TG over the past week is consistent? That's a good DAY for most baseball players..... not a good week. Parlay that 4-5 over two games into a week. I guess in all this TG hype, none of you bothered to notice that Maggs was closer to the cycle than TG was

I'm not saying he's not doing well. I'm just saying you don't bench everyday starters everytime a bench player gets hot. TG got his shot to shine last season and he sucked. TG knows his role is a bench player and he is better off performing as one. Let him enjoy the ride against Detroit pitching and use him as the situation dictates against Cleveland and Toronto.
