Chisoxfn
Cubano, can you catch me up to speed. Are any of these guys high upside talent? You usually have been pretty good on this and I know we've discussed it in the past but for some reason I'm having a major brain fart. Cubano
LHP Noel Argüelles and SS/2B José Iglesias are my favorites in this group. Argüelles is the better prospect. Both defected last year during the World Junior Championship in Canada. The Sox do not need Jose Iglesias. He is a contact hitter. SS Juan Carlos Moreno, SS/2B Yasmani Guerra and RHP Alexei Gil. Morero is a veteran and is a gold glover. He played for Cuba in the WBC # 1. Guerra is a contact hitter and has some speed. Gil thorws over 90 MPH but needs to improve his control. Marti and Gomez. Marti is a crafty RHP with control. Some injuries had slowed him down lately. Gomez is a contact hitter and has played RF for Industriales. I would not sign him to a Major League contract. He is not that young. Edited June 12, 2009 by Cubano
