DaTank
QUOTE (whitesoxbrian @ Jun 12, 2009 -> 04:58 PM) I'd go with: Hanley Ramirez Evan Longoria Albert Pujols Ian Kinsler Joe Mauer Zack Greinke Roy Halladay Cole Hamels Tim Lincecum Dan Harden I'll assume you mean Dan Haren. I'd replace Haren with Doc Halladay. I'm not entirely sold on Greinke yet, so I'd go with Felix Hernandez over him (for the time being, until Greinke performs like he has over the course of a whole season). Marky Mark
I'm seeing waaaay too many national league players on those lists guys. We all know they can't compete in a real game (in the AL)

witesoxfan
I have my baseball-boner on. If there is any list that does not include Mauer, you lose. Every good GM builds with two factors in mind...up the middle, and pitching. That said... C - Mauer (McCann) (Wieters) 2B - Utley (Kinsler) SS - Hanley CF - Granderson (Sizemore) (Maybin???) 1B/3B/DH - Pujols Santana Lincecum Haren Felix Joba - CL (Papelbon) --Sabathia nearly made it on. He wont make it 3 more years I don't think Joba sticks in the rotation, simply because he's too damn good out of the bullpen. I'm wrong, BTW, but I like it. I'd rather have McCann for the long term. He's more healthy and will still be a catcher in 3 years.

OilCan
Carl Crawford Evan Longoria Albert Pujols Joe Mauer Ichiro Johan Santana Roy Halladay Josh Beckett Tim Lincecum Francisco Rodriguez I was torn between Ichiro and Justin Upton. In the end having three left handed bats with multiple skill sets won me over. I have 4 starters, one lefty, and my closer. It was either KRod or Jonathan "Shrek" Broxton. And that Tim Lincecum is the best pitcher in baseball and has never had a history of injury trouble?
