TLAK
I noticed Brian has been starting and playing full time consistently for the past week or so. The only game he missed was 1/2 of Monday's double header. Here is how he responded: Games 9 AB 28 H 4 R 4 2B 1 3B 0 HR 1 BB 2 RBI 2 SB 0 CS 1 GDP 2 SAC 2 AVG .142 OBP .214 Ouch. I was hoping for better.

G&T
He's a 4th outfielder. Considering the lack of options right now due to injuries, and his defense, I'd say he is the least of my concerns.
Disco72
Awesome photo Lostfan! We all agree there are no better options on the roster. Just let the guy play the rest of the season, and we can (hopefully) end this debate once and for all.

Jeremy
So what's the lesson here - that he does better with inconsistent playing time?

The lesson is that it's been a week. It's pretty hard to make any conclusive decisions based on a week.
chisox2334
easy conclusion Anderson is good fourth outfielder, who can come in late games for defensive purpose like last season.
greg775
I don't know how anybody can say he's anything but a great defensive player. He's not a good hitter, probably never will be, at least not with our dysfunctional team.
Crash73
Just remember there was a time when Rowand was considered the same. Good defense, no bat. Some kids take more time to develop.
Princess Dye
Rowand always had the bat control though
