fathom
Is Danks a little banged up? Not in the lineup tonight against a RHP. With the way things are going, you always have to wonder if he's been called up.

BearSox
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 13, 2009 -> 07:13 PM) Is Danks a little banged up? Not in the lineup tonight against a RHP. With the way things are going, you always have to wonder if he's been called up. He's been in a bit of a funk, so maybe he just got the day off to rest mentally. ChiSox_Sonix
QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jun 14, 2009 -> 12:12 AM) Doesn't matter, he's too old. He's 28 and hitting .250 at AA...yes, he is.
SoxAce
To be fair he really shouldn't be in AA cause he's too good for it. Cook put up a 1.044 ops last year in B-Ham and a .768 ops in AAA Charlotte. He got off to such a brutal start and is now hitting .341 in June and around .300 since the half of May. He still has a .897 ops in a down year, and still has a better BB/SO ratio. Plain and simple, he should not be in Birmingham and we all knew this since he was demoted cause of the clusterf*** of players (mediocre/bad/whatever) in AAA right now. bighurt4life
Why is Gerst hardly playing? Is he fighting injuries or do they just not think that he's got the goods?
