I know that he hasnt hit as well in the middle of the lineup in the past, but its amazing how much Lou caters to him and keeps him in the leadoff spot game after game, even in the past couple years when he struggled as well.

Looks like Lou isn't a man of his words. He only replaced Fukudome with Johnson, which is what he usually does against right handed pitcher anyhow and he put Blanco in there instead of Miles.

 

Big difference.

Z scares me the most in that line-up. I'd hit him 5th to give Lee some protection.
