Harry Chappas
Just got in from luch. Wind is blowing out. The pitcher that keeps the ball down and gets K's will win. Get the ball up and its going to be a long day.
ThunderBolt
If the ump doesn’t call anything on the outside corner this is not going to be a very pleasant night for Gavin

kev211
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 18, 2009 -> 01:31 PM) If the ump doesn’t call anything on the outside corner this is not going to be a very pleasant night for Gavin The cubs have a fear of walking they'll start chasing out there. fathom
QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jun 18, 2009 -> 06:28 PM) Just got in from luch. Wind is blowing out. The pitcher that keeps the ball down and gets K's will win. Get the ball up and its going to be a long day. That really favors the Cubs, as Floyd throws a lot more high fastballs than Zambrano does. Harry Chappas
QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Jun 18, 2009 -> 01:31 PM) If the ump doesn’t call anything on the outside corner this is not going to be a very pleasant night for Gavin Was he giving that to Zambrano? It looked like it on Gamecast? Were all of the balls hit hard and deep as Gamecast said as well? I am about a mile south of the park and the wind is blowing at what would be straight out to left at about 10MPH.

fathom
We can't afford to let Zambrano get into a rhythm. When he gets it going, the next thing you know is it's the 7th inning and you have no hits.
justBLAZE
QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 18, 2009 -> 01:37 PM) We can't afford to let Zambrano get into a rhythm. When he gets it going, the next thing you know is it's the 7th inning and you have no hits. He seems pumped up. There you go Brian. Let's go Getzy hit a triple again. fathom
Well, at least we're not going to get no hit (and I'm serious, that's a worst case scenario in a game like today with this jackass on the mound).
