southsider2k5
QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 12:23 PM) Last night, the Lakers/Kings game wasn't blacked out on UVerse for whatever reason so watched the last quarter. If there was EVER and NBA game this season to look at and say, "Yeah, the refs are rigging games.", That would of been it. Even Shannon Brown was getting calls that weren't there. And you had to love Kobe's major push off to get open and hit the buzzer beater. Not to mention his catch, hop, and shoot...
DBAHO
Just a terrible shooting game for the Magic tonight on a back to back. The only player who came to play was Matt Barnes, and we don't have much of an offensive flow right now (currently we're missing Turkoglu's playmaking with the pick and roll quite a bit). Very nice win for the Bulls though.

SoxAce
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 09:48 PM) Bulls haven't yet lost since TT came back. They are now 6-2 with him, and 7-15 without him. Though today, this was more or less a team win.. (or pretty much Derrick Rose dropping 30-6-7 on them and Dwight Howard not doing much. )

DBAHO
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 02:48 PM) Bulls haven't yet lost since TT came back. The key move IMO, has actually been moving Hinrich into the starting lineup and getting him going, Salmons looks more at home as a 6th man right now, and giving the Bulls that offense off the bench with TT which they need. VDN's got them playing hard again, and Rose had probably his best game of the season tonight, although Jamer Nelson is definitely not 100% healthy with that knee right now, so Rose should have had a good game which he did. As for the Magic, when Vince Carter and Rashard Lewis combine for only 5-23 and Howard has less than 10 touches (he needs to be shooting around 15 a game which basically hasn't happened this season), we're not going to win most nights. Yea, Kirk in starting five is a big step up. Salmons is more of a SF then a SG. Though, now healthy Rose and Tyrus has given a huge boost. The key move is Tyrus Thomas returning. 7-2 with Tyrus, 7-15 without. I'm just slightly kidding, but it is pretty incredible. DBAHO
Hmm; The Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that the Bulls and Wizards are discussing a trade that would send Caron Butler to the Bulls for Kirk Hinrich. The deal may also include the expiring contracts of Jerome James and Mike James, although the contracts of Butler and Hinrich are close enough to make the deal happen on their own. Don't panic if you're an owner of Butler, with Hinrich's role in Washington being a bit of a question mark. Stay tuned.
southsider2k5
QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 07:20 PM) Hmm; Who would be the SG then, Salmons or Butler?

southsider2k5
QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 07:38 PM) Butler 24/7 The Bulls really could use the extra outside scoring, that is for sure.
Quin
QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jan 3, 2010 -> 07:20 PM) Hmm; I'm assuming they wouldn't take Deng instead? I'm warming up to Deng, but I'd much rather have PG: Rose/Hinrich SG: Hinrich/Salmons SF: Butler/Salmons than PG: Rose/Pargo SG: Butler/Salmons SF: Deng/Salmons Though, if you did Hinrich-Butler and then Deng/Salmons/James-McGrady, you'd have astronomical cap room. chw42
Caron Butler might actually give this team a chance to win a playoff round. I like it a lot.
DBAHO
Caron Butler has been terrible for Washington this season FWIW. I assume Washington want Hinrich as some possible Arenas insurance?
DBAHO
Also acquiring Butler, would allow you to move Luol Deng plus an expiring contract for T-Mac if the Bulls wanted to go down that route. Butler's pretty much a 3 thru and thru.
nitetrain8601
I've heard this is just speculation. The Sun Times just got this from MikeJonesSports. Miami, which is the other team mentioned is more likely.

Butler's pretty much a 3 thru and thru. Which is why I'd rather move Deng for Butler. Last year Salmons played well at the 3 for the Bulls, not so much at the 2 this year. But if you can move Hinirch for Butler, than Deng + James and/or Salmon for T-Mac, you'd have enough cap to sign, like, 3 big FA's, wouldn't you?
