If nothing goes wrong for the Celtics injury and chemistry wise they have to be the team to beat in the east.

This of course includes Glenn Davis injuring his hand in a fight and getting himself hurt and suspended.

We'll see. Right now I'm predicting a Magic vs. Celtics Eastern Conference Finals.

But there's pro's and con's for each team.

The Cavs obviously have LeBron, best player in the NBA. But they also have to work Shaq into the system, and are very reliant on Mo Williams to take pressure off LeBron.

The Celtics have the big 3. Down low they're extremely hard to score against. But they are also pretty old now, and Ray Allen isn't the player he used to be IMO, so they are a little susceptible there.

The Magic have Dwight, will hopefully have Nelson for a full season, and Carter upgrades the SG spot. And they're probably the deepest team out of all 3, they go legimantly 12 deep. On the negative, they'll miss Hedo on the pick and roll's, and if the outside shot isn't going down, they can get clogged down offensively.

Should be great to watch as the season unfolds though.

I watch a ton of Jazz games and the more I watch Boozer the more I hate him as a basketball player. The Jazz are lucky they have the Knicks first round pick in this upcoming draft. Maybe they can finally get Deron Williams a real supporting cast.

I love the Jazz, but that's pretty damn clear at this point. Deron really needs some help.

On another note, the Wolves won today on a buzzerbeater. It was f***ing awesome. We aren't going to be good this year, but we're headed in the right direction for sure and it's going to be fun watching this team come together over the next few years.

Watching this year's ROY is always exciting. They do have some nice young talent coming in the organization. I still don't get why Sessions was signed to sit on the bench, to me he should be starting.

Thunder are a team I feel could sneak into the West playoff picture, of course they played the Kings the other day but they still looked good. That team is a couple role players off the bench from being real good. If Krstic is healthy they could surprise.

Excited for the Bulls tonight.

Team Lebron off to an 0-2 start. If they get off to a slow start, I'd like to see how Mr. Lebron reacts. He lost a lot of points with me with the way he acted after they lost to the Magic last year.

He did look like an immature spoiled brat at the end of the series. Let's see if he learned his lesson and moves on from it and proves that he can evolve.

Even with the 0-2 start, I still see them winning their division and getting a top 3 seed.

I have to ask...am I the only one who remembers all the times at the end of games where they'd draw up an iso play for Gordon, he'd get trapped/double teamed because everyone knew who would get the ball, throw up a prayer, and make like 20% of them?

You may realize how much in the season opener Thursday night at the United Center if the Bulls trail the Spurs by one point with 4.5 seconds left and the ball. Who takes the last shot?

Coach Vinny Del Negro's first option should be letting Rose create off the dribble. His second option could be John Salmons, Mr. Clutch in the playoffs who will get more shots in Gordon's absence. Did someone say Brad Miller was open on the wing?

None of the options Del Negro could draw up will inspire as much confidence as Gordon doing what Gordon did.

Salmons should be the man if we need a 3 and Rose for shots inside the arch.

If the team was more confident in him playing alongside Jonny Flynn, I imagine he would be starting. But it comes down to the fact that Flynn needs the playing time more than Sessions, and he's going be starting and getting the majority of minutes at point. The team is willing to sacrifice wins for experience for the younger guys, and it should be fun to watch their development.

I loved Ben as much as the next guy, but I remember Ben being much worse then this prolific unstoppable force the Chicago media has made him out to be since he left.

Only needed to see 1 quarter of Tyrus Thomas to remind me of why he is terrible and should not come back.

He's dropping shots and driving to the hoop now, 1 quarter is not enough time to judge someone.

And I think i will have to offer a formal apology to Noah pretty soon, he picked up right where he left off last season.

He went from like -6 to +7 in 1 quarter. From 0 points, 2 rebounds, 0 blocks, to 10 points, 5 rebs, 3 blocks.

If you would have told me that a Chicago team would win, and one would lose tonight, I would have lost every dime of my life savings today.

It took me a really long time to figure out what other chicago team was playing tonight.
