BPSOX12
I really want this guy and I believe that Kenny wants him just as much. He is still young and he has great stuff. I would do anything to see this guy in a sox uni. Do you think the Orioles would take this trade? Orioles Get: Brian Daubach Tony G or Willie or Aaron Rowand One Minor League Prospect Sox Get: Ponson I dunno if this would work or how much the orioles want. The guy is 13-5, would you take that group for a #1 starter?
Steff
They want Joe Crede. No deal without Crede.

I'm thinking they'd prefer to have Carlos Lee, but I'm more then willing to do that. I'd prefer to keep Harris and Rowand if possible. I'd offer them Lee and a prospect of some sort. Maybe give them Glover.
witesoxfan
They want Joe Crede. No deal without Crede. If they want Crede, then they give us Kerry LIghtenberg and BJ Ryan.
BPSOX12
I would still rather deal Konerko over Lee even though Pauly is hot right now. I think the orioles would take my proposed deal if there was one more prospect in there. He has been sort of inconsistent the past few years and plus he is a free agent next year. Im sure Kenny could ink him next year. Just look at this rotation: Buherle Loaiza Ponson Garland Rauch or maybe even Honel For all i care colon can walk he is just another bust in my eyes. Guest hotsoxchick1
we cant give up any prospects cause texas still has till friday ( i think is the deadline) to pick theirs for everett........doesnt leave that much time to make any moves prospect wise.....i dont know if i would be giving up dauber just yet... put paulie in there and lets hang onto dauber in case something happens to frank.......other than that i like your idea.......bps
witesoxfan
Ugh.. ya don't want BJ. He's a whiner. Is he? Well then f*** him! Have them give us Jerry Hairston or Melvin Mora too then.
Dick Allen
Is he? Well then f*** him! Have them give us Jerry Hairston or Melvin Mora too then. I wouldn't mind little Jerry Hairston taking over 2b in 2004. His dad is still with the White Sox organization. I wonder if he is what they have in mind. BPSOX12
how many years left does mora have left on his contract? i wouldnt mind trading lee, harris or rowand, and a few prospects for mora and ponson. Look at moras numbers they kick ass. Now that would be a great trade. About the prospects im sure that the white sox are pretty sure which prospects the rangers will be taking. Everybody does something stupid, it is a matter of does it happen all of the time or not. Me personally, I would love to see Hairston playing 2B for us. He seems to be fundementally sound. T R U
AHHHHH!!!! No MORA f*** Melvin, he blows If the White Sox trade Lee in a deal that gets Mora I am converting to the Cubs.. f*** Melvin Mora!!! I hate the bum Im glad he got hit in the face, I hope hes done for the year! Besides that... Orioles Get: Joe Crede Billy Koch Prospect White Sox Get: Ponson Lightenberg (Maybe Cash?) This would allow Gordon to remain Closer.. we replace Koch with the reliever and then we let Graffy play third base for the rest of the year and look for a replacement in FA... Randa maybe? What about that?

What about that? A 3rd baseman hitting .230 with under 10 HR's and under 40 RBI's, plus a former closer who lost 10 MPH off of his fastball and no one can figure out why, for a #1 starter and plus a decent set up guy. Heck you can add Ponson and Lightenburgs ERA's and they aren't that much more than Koch's is by itself! Even the O's would laugh at us. T R U
The O's are asking for Crede Why dont you pay attention before you make random posts
Joel
I say O's get Crede Lee Rauch Sox get Ponson Lightenberg Connine. Here is my reasoning. Ponson would give us a solid #4 and #5 while making our rotation the best in the bigs. Lightenberg would give us another Righthander in the bullpen who is very reliable. Connine gives us a replacement for Crede for atleast 2 years maybe 3 who is a great hitter and a good fielder. Now on why the O's would do it, 1st they get Crede to be thier future 3rd baseman. Lee would be the right handed power hitter they have been looking for who can play 1st base, left field, and DH. And then Rauch gives them another pitching prospect for thier future rotation. Joel
Can Conine play 3rd base? Yeah he has played it a lot of over the past couple years. Atleast I think he has.
Joel
Is there any sight that shows how many times a guy has started over the past 3 or 4 seasons.
