According to the announcers, Beckham basically told them he has no idea what he's doing out there. He absolutely has to stop throwing so high over to 3rd base though. Throw it low and give PK a chance at least.

Didn't he also make a lot of errors at SS down in BIR?

Well everyone wanted to see the kids play... Now we are seeing them.

I'm not sure everyone wanted to see Beckham play out of position. Josh Fields, at this point, is probably a better hitter than Getz. Getz fields his position better. Beckham, so far, has been significantly worse than Fields at 3rd imo.

Yes...which is why 2nd is a lot better option (and we remove the soft hitting average fielder with a .625 OPS)

It would make more sense if we had a guy who would put up better numbers, or play better defense at 3B, but I am not convinced that we have a guy ready to do that right now.

And another Sox pitcher who can't pitch over an error. Ridiculous how often it's happening this year. Get Bradley out and keep the lead.

What do you mean, "add?" Buehrle has always been that way. Thankfully we don't have to listen to Hawk whine about it.

Simple answer... it's a crap shoot right now.

I wanna see more Nix.

I have a lot of patience for Getz - he's a rookie, the team is going to have to take its lumps with him but he has potential to be very good...IMO.
