Steve9347
STP was my jam for quite a bit. Playing "Sour Girl" in memorium. Velvet Revolver's debut was a nice surprise, too. Guy was always f***ed up, so I'm not too surprised he didn't make it to his 50th.
Kyyle23
Heroin is a sad drug. I saw a video of scott performing a few months ago, and it was really depressing to see how far gone he was.

Swingandalongonetoleft
Sucks. Just like with Layne, though, it was bound to happen. I just randomly threw on STP's Purple the other day.

LittleHurt05
QUOTE (knightni @ Dec 4, 2015 -> 07:32 AM) That was Layne Staley. No, I was thinking about Weiland. His name was mentioned with hardcore drugs so often, I just figured he had been dead for a while. Quite the run he had.

demonbluess
"Kenosha Brad" Jewell passed last night. Local sports talk contributor and long time caller to the Score. He had a weekly sports radio talk show up in Kenosha. I remember listening to him call in on the old Q101 Sherman & Tingle show pretty much every day. Super good guy. Sad to see him pass. The Critic
QUOTE (buhbuhburrrrlz @ Dec 29, 2015 -> 11:23 PM) That VH-1 documentary they did was really well done. I would seek out "Lemmy: The Movie". I just watched it again, it's really great. I was fortunate to see Motorhead four times. Loved that band, and they never disappointed live. I wish now that I had stopped in at the Rainbow when I was in LA, just to see if he was parked at his usual spot playing video trivia with a jack and coke. RIP Lemmy!
