FlaSoxxJim
QUOTE (farmteam @ Oct 27, 2011 -> 12:33 PM) Keep Me In Your Heart is the most obvious (but still awesome) choice for me. Zevon?!!? If so, then you and me both, but that would be more for during the service. For the recessional it would have to be Party For the Rest of the Night from the same album. farmteam
QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 27, 2011 -> 05:55 PM) Zevon?!!? If so, then you and me both, but that would be more for during the service. For the recessional it would have to be Party For the Rest of the Night from the same album. Recessional might be that...or Dirty Life and Times. That has a bit of a "have fun" vibe to me. But seriously, "Keep Me in Your Heart" is one of the most achingly beautiful songs ever written (along with Ray LaMontagne's Jolene...for some reason I consider them very similar songs in tone if not subject matter), and perfectly sums up my thoughts on that subject.
