Current sox players only have 42 at-bats (very small number) him with a .357 batting average against for a .1068 ops. His last year with any significant time in the league was 2006 (was out of the league entirely in 2008) in which he gave up 28 home runs in only 98.2 innings, good for a 2.6 home runs per 9 innings. Expect a couple home runs tomorrow for the sox.

Man it feels good when no matter what starter we trot out there you can feel confident that you have at least a 60% chance of winning that game.

Yeah, Bruce Chen, I couldn't believe it when I heard he was still in MLB

We stole a game where the pitching matchup looked to give us no chance earlier this week in the Richard vs. Lee game. Tonight, it's the reverse, and we really need to make sure we win the game in which the pitching matchup is decidedly in our favor. Hopefully the boys can keep it up and get that done.

But he's terrible.

When you're left handed, you'll always have a job somewhere.

You have to wonder why Jimmy Gobble is still on our roster.

The bad thing here is, his change-up is his best pitch. Yikes.

Looks like that's the formula to beat the Sox this year: throw a bad left-handed pitcher with a change-up that everybody else hits.

Don't tell Ozzie who those players with at-bats are. He may rest them.

It appears that Castro is catching for Contreras, nothing more. It's just a coincidence that he faced the lefty last night.
