Marky Mark
I've never had anything all that amazing. I had sec 161 row 1 and a few years back sec in the 130s row 17.
Chi Town Sox
QUOTE (Markbilliards @ Jul 2, 2009 -> 11:20 AM) I've never had anything all that amazing. I had sec 161 row 1 and a few years back sec in the 130s row 17. My buddy gets 2nd row behind visitor's dugout. Everytime a lefty bats the people in that seat are on TV. It's pretty funny when you get texts saying "hey, are you at the sox game? Nice seats!"
Balta1701
Prior to the installation of the scout seats I've been 4th row behind home plate.
Kyyle23
Had my feet up on the Sox dugout. Almost caught a foul ball from Fisk
HuskyCaucasian
Do skyboxes count? If so, I've done that several times. but as for regular seats, I was in section 531 (right behind home plate in the upper deck), row 5. I think. AWESOME seats with a great view of the entire ballpark.
ILMOU
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 2, 2009 -> 10:23 AM) Prior to the installation of the scout seats I've been 4th row behind home plate. The father of a good friend of mine was the CFO of the City of Chicago for 25+ years, working under both mayor Daley's. In 2000, we sat in the extra field-level seats by the dugout installed just for the playoffs, and watched Edgar and the Mariners beat us to a pulp. RibbieRubarb
In 1995, My buddy and I went to a game against Texas. It was May 24 and a double-header. It was wet and misty most of the day. Since we had to work, we got there before the start of the second game. The usher told us they closed the upperdeck due to low attendance and that it was general seating in the lower deck. I sat in the first row, aisle seat, behind the visitors on-deck circle. My Buddy sat first row, aisle seat, behind the home on-deck circle. There had to be about 1000 total people at the game. We were able to talk to each other across the field. At one point, Mickey Tettleton jokingly asked us to be quiet as his teammates were trying to sleep in the dugout. whitesoxfan101
Second row down the right field line, basically just past where the first base coach stands in terms of distance from home plate. I get to sit there once a year, and it's a great time.
StrangeSox
Section 131 Row 22 earlier this year against the A's. It was early June and game time temp was about 48*.
whitesoxbrian
10 rows behind the Sox on-deck circle. I've sat in the SS once, it was this year against Detroit, row 11. Pretty damn good there. When I saw the Sox in Pittsburgh in 2006, I sat 3 rows from 1st base. Edited July 2, 2009 by whitesoxbrian
bigruss
Friend's family took me to a Sox game where we sat about 5 rows from the Sox on deck circle, it was fantastic. I think they mentioned the mayor's season tickets were close to ours, but not sure on that (plus this was like 10 years ago). Other than that bleacher seats and upper deck for me. chw42
I was 14 rows away from the first base dugout twice.
Greg Hibbard
I've had a seat in pretty much every area/price point in the ballpark
The Critic
About 15 rows back from the right-handed batter's box once. 2nd row down the left field line once. 1st row of section 101 once (I liked those a lot). Other than that, I usually have okay-to-crappy seats.
sam785
Living in Central Indiana, I dont go to Sox games but once a year, when I do go, I usually go on a Monday and sit in the Upperdeck.
knightni
Been in club box a few times; 3rd base side about 12 rows up; behind home plate about half way up.
Steve9347
Front row down the left-field line in 2005. Joe Crede hit a massive bomb (against Detroit) and I held an idiot fan back from stealing a ball that Pods was chasing. I could have rubbed Pods' junk. You are the anti Bartman. Good job. I've been in the skyboxes. My dad's partner was one of the investors in Reinsdorf's group or however the Sox are owned. At old Comiskey as a kid we had season tix in about the fifth row behind home plate. I went to about 20 games one summer as a h.s. kid and took friends when my dad didn't use them with work colleagues or met hm there a few times. Now that was fun. bjm676
My parents have season tickets. I love their seats. Whenever they offer them up, I take them. Section 137, Row 15, Seats 1 & 2. Doesn't get better than those. I was at ALCS Game 2 in those seats.
