Jordan4life_2007
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 6, 2009 -> 05:29 PM) So is Big Hurt a masher. I was just asking a question of why is Hurt out of baseball and Thome still in? You can't tell me Hurt wouldn't hit 20-30 home runs if he played as much as Jimmy. Jimmy better heat up if he wants to hit 25-30 dingers this year. I said I like Thome, but he cannot run a lick. You got to admit he is probably the slowest man in baseball right now. I don't know why Thomas is out of baseball. Health? Money? Who knows. Has nothing to do with the fact Jim Thome is still one of the most productive DH's in the AL. santo=dorf
Does Thome have the same foot problems as Thomas? No. Has Thome put up better numbers over the past three years than Thomas? yes.
dpd9189
QUOTE (santo=dorf @ Jul 6, 2009 -> 05:40 PM) Does Thome have the same foot problems as Thomas? No. Has Thome put up better numbers over the past three years than Thomas? yes. I know this is late but well deserved all star selection for Buehrle. WSoxMatt
Buehrle is due to throw Sunday so he probably won't pitch in the ASG

When is the usual bullpen day, 2 or 3 days after a start?

Just remember that bullpens are typically thrown at 75%-80% intensity, pitching in a game is very different and would be a departure from his regular recovery. As a pitcher, this would sometimes delay my recovery when I would pitch in a game between starts.
ChiSox_Sonix
Nelson Cruz selected as Torii Hunter's injury replacement. How is he more deserving than Jermaine Dye?

chw42
I officially think of Joe Maddon as an idiot now. You don't take Granderson and Cruz over Dye and Lind. You just don't.
