We owe them for TCQ and setting Chris Young up financially for life?

lol, the Chris Young contract is totally their own doing. He wasn't batting .196 when we traded him. But yeah this would be about the only logical explanation I can think of right now.

While I am sad to see Brandon Allen traded... I love Tony Pena's arm. He is a guy who hasn't been consistent, but has absolute electric stuff.

And the Sox seem to scout the Dbacks pretty well. This seems like a move for 2010.

The only way this makes sense to me is as a long-term move with Dotel gone at the end of the year (if not sooner) and Linebrink's shoulder being completely unreliable. And even then, I'm not seeing the value in Pena.

Like I said.. Brandon Allen they mighta been very down on, even as a prospect. And I personally think he's very overrated here. But to trade him for a reliever (and looking at his stats a very mediore one) is not a good buisness move. Again.. I've NEVER questioned Kenny in deals.. EVER and I'm even counting when J. Reed (my favorite spect at the time) was traded for Freddy cause he was proven, and a very good pitcher.

He has a career 114 ERA+ which is pretty good, and had a ridiculous 144 ERA+ in 2007. Strikes out a fair number, doesn't walk a ton. Decent stuff it seems.
