bjchinn15 Posted July 8, 2009 Share Posted July 8, 2009 I only think that the sox should do this because we face three left handed starters in a row for the next three games. This will allow Ozzie to play him at DH in at least two of those games and maybe the field in one. Then he can play a game or two this weekend in the field and rest over the all-star break. The more games we can get out of him before the trade deadline the better. This will allow KW to see him in live game action and decide what to do, come July 31st. Ofcourse this is also assuming the sox were going to activate him after the all-star break anyways, why not now, especially since they say he has been taking swings while being out?
