I saw Coomer at a Sox/Cubs game at USCF a couple of years ago, cheering wildly for the Cubs.

i once heard a rumor that ron coomer got an 11 on his ACT....not sure if its true or not but funny nonetheless

Coomer is a creepy individual. He used to own batting cages in Lockport I believe, and no one that worked for him like him.

Don't get me started on this.

Not sure what you have to argue about...

It was pretty freakin' obvious that the ump had Danks pitching into a postage stamp strikezone in that first inning.

Well he played for them, didn't he?

I remember several years ago when he was on the Cubs during the Crosstown Classic, they followed him with a camera from his house to the park in his minivan, into the park, etc. It was very queer.

Needless to say, they guy had a few nice years as a hitter, but his talent for broadcasting isn't so special. He sounds worse than your drunk know-it-all friend in the bar....

No, I totally agree with you. It was absolutely bulls*** by the umpire to take control of the game the way he did.

Sorry. I guess I was just looking for a good argument and you were a convenient target. :)
