credit gardenhire for stealing 3rd.....IMO that took the "intentionaly unintentional" walk out of play as a past ball resulted in a run....still all we had to do was f***ing intentionally walk the best player in the AL

JESUS f***ING CHRIST OZZIE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH i am still steaming mad

If we lose this, easily the most frustrating loss and pretty much avoidable loss of the season.

This reminds me of game 1 we lost last year in the 3 game series in September. As I recall, it was a 5-4 game? Basically where we should've won it but basically handed it to the Twinkies and they went on to sweep.

After Nathan shuts us down in the 9th, I'll be THRILLED with one win this weekend.

I think I might have walked Mauer even with the favorable LHP/LHP match-up and with an MVP coming up after him in Morneau...

And even if you pitch to him, if it gets to 2-0, throwing him a pitch right down the middle is about as dumb as it gets. Your only hope is if he hits it right at someone.

I love Oz, but he isn't afraid to call out players.

The media or Oz himself should call himself out tonight for the Mauer decision.

True the leadoff walk predictably killed us; but Oz should at least reprimand himself as well. This season that's like letting Pujols beat ya.

its all on ozzie....everyone knows when you go to the mound to ask a pitcher who he wants, he is never going to give in. thats the attitude players need to have...managers need to have a smart enough brain to tell those pitchers you will walk him here, and not ask them who they want

i once heard a rumor that ron coomer got an 11 on his ACT....not sure if its true or not but funny nonetheless

That's hilarious.

You have to try to get an 11 on that test. Most people with half a brain can get at least a 17 or an 18.

Late inning implosion.

Guys we need to win one this weekend. Can't afford to drop 3 additional games behind Det.

I'll be absolutely thrilled beyond belief if we're only 3.5 games out of 1st at the ASB. 5.5 is a very real scenario.

Jenks? Why? WHY!?!?!

cuz our pen was abused yesterday, jenks needs work and jenks should still be able to get outs even if its a non save situation

Except you, I, Ozzie, and everyone else in the world know that Jenks is not good in non-save situations.

When I was in HS, an equipment manager got his results back and asked me if I could look at it because he couldn't figure out his score. It was an 8. I had to tell him he fired an 8.
