Heads22
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 10, 2009 -> 09:41 PM) We win this game maybe if Getz's hit clears the wall or bounces off the wall. It didn't and it's the usual heartbreak in the dome. Christ, that play did not decide this game. Us walking people did.

Whitewashed in '05
How predictable is this game? How predictable are the sox at that dumb dome? They're gonna get swept and then were gonna hear the stupid "tip your cap to those guys". You would think the sox would have an edge seeing as how they just got owned by the Yankees. JohnCangelosi
I would like to propose a toast: Here's to the new stadium the Twins will be moving into in 2010. Their biggest advantage will be taken away from them at that stage. I don't anyway they are going to be the same team in that ballpark....they just have a horse shoe up their ass in the Rollerdome against us and pretty much the entire league and have had that since the mid 80's
fathom
QUOTE (daa84 @ Jul 11, 2009 -> 03:41 AM) you were spot on abotu that cuddyer catch...twins defense was the difference in this game.... Every freaking game is deja vu at this place. Tomorrow or Sunday, we'll have a game where we hit 5 deep fly balls to left field that get caught on the warning track. Don't forget there will be a very high choppers hit by the Twins in a big situation, and Kubel will crush a home run in a big spot.
fathom
Oh, and if this game follows script, Nathan will strike out the last batter on a called 3rd.

Dick Allen
If you want to get dangerously drunk, watch the postgame show and drink a shot every time Melton says "White Sox". You may have to be hospitalized in 10 minutes.

Don't forget there will be a very high choppers hit by the Twins in a big situation, and Kubel will crush a home run in a big spot. I prefer something more random, like Denny Hocking ripping a homer off Foulke, Tyner stealing two bases and scoring on a bunt single by random Pirahna...Kubel does seem to kill us. Maybe a GW Crede RBI is due? Gomez hitting for the cycle? D. Young actually waking up this season? Of course, you expect production out of Mauer/Morneau/Cuddyer/Kubel...that's nothing new. SoxAce
Pitching to Mauer in that situation, having Steve and Hawk not even understand that as announcers was beyond ridiculous anyway. I would love to see Ozzie defend that one.
