Flash Tizzle
QUOTE (Cali @ Jul 10, 2009 -> 07:29 PM) Danks is pitching like a f***ing p****.... I was keeping it tame calling him a woman, but yes, this is it. Danks just doesn't pitch like this regularly. Or ever. He's pitching like a p****, and you'd think someone who has done well in the playoffs and one-game to get into the playoffs wouldn't pitch like this. It's embarrassing. The Ginger Kid
i'm glad they lost it early instead of the agonizing late inning collapse. Thanks danks.
fathom
QUOTE (JohnCangelosi @ Jul 11, 2009 -> 01:31 AM) Has anyone seen someone start a game with 4 STRAIGHT WALKS? I have never seen that before in 25 yrs of watching baseball... Catfish never did that
Flash Tizzle
I feel like we're watching the starting pitcher equivalent of that former Cardinals prospect traded to Cleveland.

southsider2k5
Danks is going to be out there a while now after the pen got burnt up yesterday. This is going to be ugly.

caulfield12
Ascencio did it with 16 pitches for the Royals, but not to start a game. UMM...mixing the rotation to let Danks (who was pitching so well) face a team he SHOULD have a bit of confidence against isn't the problem. We changed our rotation around down the stretch last year and had starters going on 3 days and we somehow made it to the playoffs. It's not Ozzie's fault Danks has morphed into Rick Ankiel or Dontrelle Willis.

Nokona
I genuinely think the strike zone against the first batter rattled Danksy.

fathom
Instead of watching the pitch, just watch how far off to the right Danks is falling off. He's almost ending up off of my screen.

Dick Allen
Keep it at 4 and things can still work out. I don't understand Danks' tentative-ness. He dominated this team last October.
